Role and Responsibilities:
Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing branch team, creating an inclusive and safety-focused culture
Drive branch performance to achieve revenue, margin and KPI targets
Champion excellent customer service and act as an escalation point for customer enquiries
Grow sales through proactive customer engagement and a strong, varied sales mix
Oversee day-to-day branch operations including order processing, quotations and job delivery
Support mobile engineers and trade counter activity where applicable
Use digital tools, including the Job Manager App, to manage jobs, data and workflows effectively
Work closely with other branches and internal teams to ensure service consistency
Contribute to branch planning, stock control and continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure full compliance with health & safety standards, company policies and legislation
What we’re looking for
Essential experience
Proven people management experience with the ability to engage, lead and develop teams
Strong customer-facing background with a focus on service excellence
Experience working in an operational or service-led environment
Ability to drive performance against financial targets and KPIs
Good planning, organisation and problem-solving skills
Confident using IT systems and digital tools
Strong communication, influencing and relationship-building skills
Demonstrates a clear commitment to health & safety
Full UK driving licence
Desirable experience
Background in engineering, hydraulics or mechanical fitting
Experience within the hydraulic hose, fittings or industrial services sector
Previous branch, depot or operational management experience
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in engineering, customer service or management
Experience managing engineers or repair/service operations
Knowledge of tooling, specialist equipment or onsite HSE requirements
